Thank you for your interest in American Heritage Girls (AHG). The AHG curriculum develops character, encourages team building, leadership, life skills, and spiritual growth. Our mission is to “build women of integrity through service to God, Family, Country and Community". There are hundreds of badges that can be achieved in learning new skills. This is our 14th year as a troop and looking forward to another great year. We could spend hours talking about all the great events, activities, and the success stories of watching some of these girls grow and would love to share those with you in person. Our troop would love the opportunity to have your daughter join us.
Our troop meets every Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:00pm for our life skills and badge work. Additional meetings are scheduled for service and social opportunities but are not required. It is our goal for the troop to serve as a safe, secure, Christ-centered environment where girls are encouraged to “spread their wings,” have new experiences, and enjoy a program curriculum that is long-term, developmentally appropriate, and goal-oriented. The AHG experience can only be effective through regular participation of the parents in the AHG troop setting. For a child, seeing their parent involved in their Troop, adds validity and importance to the experience. There are many opportunities from working directly with the girls to working behind the scenes. All families must be involved and there is something for everyone.….And not to worry “God doesn’t call the equipped but He equips those he calls”. You will never be alone on this journey, when we have Christ in our hearts.

Many blessings,
Your Troop Board
